Comfort is a romantic odyssey exploring the ups and downs of two strangers over the course of two nights in Los Angeles. The film was written and directed by first-timer William Lu, who expertly navigates those themes of self-discovery and connection that often accompany young romances. Youtube stars Dinh and Julie Zhan star alongside veteran actors Kelvin Han Yee and Billy Sly Williams. Mark Heidelberger produced. The story centers on a lonely late-night courier who spontaneously agrees to pick up the daughter of an important client at the airport. However, sparks quickly fly as the two twenty-somethings explore the city’s dining spots while sharing some of their most intimate dreams.Unfortunately, both of them harbor secrets that could upset their blossoming courtship before it is ever fully realized. Director's Bio: William Lu attended the graduate film conservatory at Florida State University where he received his MFA in Film and Television Production. He spent three years at Herzog & Company where he produced content for clients like Disney, Paramount, Dreamworks and Sony Pictures. In 2015, he directed the feature drama COMFORT from his own original screenplay. The storyline and characters were inspired by the John Hughes movies of the 80’s, while Michael Mann’s LA nightscapes served as a stylistic inspiration. Co-Presented by:
